Home Bargains are looking for drivers in Devon and the salaries…

If you like driving and would like to do it for a living then Home Bargains may have the perfect role for you – and the salaries are impressive. The company, which has branches in Newton Abbot, Exmouth, Cullompton and Barnstaple, is offering some seriously good salaries for qualified lorry drivers at their head office and to serve stores around the country.
The pay starts at an impressive £30,621 and ranges up to £34,023 per year.
The roles are full time, operating on five days on, three days off shift pattern adding up to 44 hours a week. Benefits include 5.6 weeks’ worth of holiday, bonuses, 10 per cent off in store and access to the company VW camper vans – Vinnie and Winnie.

The ideal candidates should have a valid C+E driving licence, a current driver certificate of professional competence card, be 25 or over and have at least 12 months’ worth of HGV driving experience for insurance reasons.

It will be your job to drive with care and attention, load and unload goods, ensure paperwork is completed and all deliveries are made on time, amongst other things.
Company T J Morris launched the family-run Home Bargains 40 years ago in Liverpool.
They have 420 stores nationwide and serve over 4m customers each week.
The company currently plans to double in size to 800 stores.
