Matt Kvesic says there is a lot more to come from him after breaking into the Exeter first team. The 25-year-old back-row joined the Chiefs in the summer from Gloucester. But after starting the season opener, Kvesic was not named in the Premiership starting XV again until the win against Saracens two weeks ago, and kept his spot for last week’s victory over Bath.

“I’ve been lucky to get the opportunity over the past two weeks and I felt like I’ve gone reasonably well,” he said.”I feel there’s a lot to work on still individually, but it’s heading in the right direction.”Kvesic has won three England caps – starting two tests on a tour to Argentina in the summer of 2013 before an appearance as a replacement in England’s win over Wales in May last year.”Coming to the Premiership champions is quite a tough thing to do,” he told BBC South West.”It’s quite a settled team, there’s not been much change, so I’ve had to be patient. I understood that coming in and I’ve just tried to train as well as I could.”Any team’s hotly contested, but you look here and we’ve got probably seven or eight frontline back rows.”It’s a great place to be, it’s improving individuals, it’s improving the team and that’s what we want to do.”
